Stand With Standing Rock
Right now history is being made at the Standing Rock reservation in North Dakota where Water Protectors from many tribes, as well as people from all around the country, are standing up to oppose the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) that would compromise the Missouri River, the source of drinking water for the Standing Rock Reservation. This is a critical environmental justice issue. Of course, we are all downstream and the end of the proposed pipeline is close to home in central IL, so many rivers and land will be threatened.
